Taverne Ter Linden is the showcase of GC Essegem, a charming space with a sunny terrace where vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes and snacks compete. The desserts there are home-made and tempting and the drinks menu has been composed with taste: local and artisan beers, unforgettable wines and juices and soft drinks from Brussels.

Ter Linden is part of Groot Eiland, an organisation that provides training for people who are far from the labour market. Under expert guidance, future catering employees are given the chance to train as kitchen or room staff. You will learn to dance with a tray and master professional barista skills. In the professionally equipped kitchen, you will discover the craft of kitchen worker. With a variety of initiatives, we aim to increase social cohesion in the neighbourhood.
We serve filtered water and work with local produce, including vegetables from BelAkker, Groot Eiland's urban vegetable garden project. Zero waste is key.
